The food was great and the room was good. The staff were friendly, though they don’t speak English very well.

We were hosted by Cavid Agayev, the new chef, during this year’s German board of tourism press tour, where he represented Germany and the Eifel Region to visiting tourists and journalists. The warm hospitality and excellent menu were exactly what we’d hoped to show our journalist. The meal was delicious, creative, and beautifully presented, on a level I’d expect in a restaurant in Berlin or Hamburg. I was especially taken with the fried salmon on celery root purée, topped with pickled tiny radish. I’d discovered pickled radish in Japan just two weeks earlier, so finding it again in the Eifel was a surprise. Its sourness went perfectly with the sweet purée. It completely blew my taste buds away. Thanks so much, Cavid! All the best to you and your lovely wife. I’d definitely come again and recommend it 100%.

The staff were so welcoming, and the food was really delicious. It arrived soon after we ordered. A big thank you to the young waitress for being so kind. Definitely recommend dining here!

A lovely place for families. The hosts let us dine with our little dog, and the food and hospitality were beyond words.
