10/10
I chose the Menü Klosterbräu, and it was generous without losing its technical precision. The German cooking felt confident and substantial rather than showy, and after five courses, plus a run of thoughtful amuses, I was genuinely full. The German wine selection arranged on request was excellent, expressive and well matched to the food, even though there isn't a standard pairing listed. With its Michelin mention, Zum Klosterbräu is much more than a place for refined dining. The wellness facilities are impeccable, and the hospitality, comfort, and food all come together seamlessly. A destination to enjoy slowly. I’ll be back.

The garden is a lovely spot for eating outside when the weather cooperates. This long-established fine hotel occupies an 18th-century inn near a grand pilgrimage church. The cooking is well done, combining traditional dishes with some modern touches, and the broad wine list is especially strong in German and Austrian bottles.

The hotel is really beautiful, the food is good, and the rooms are clean. The waiters are pretty. I just wish the pillow had been thicker.

The service was super friendly and the food was great. The rooms work well for business meetings, though the equipment is rather old.
