Clean place, and a good base for Heide park since it’s not far away.

It’s a quiet spot away from the city, with covered parking and a clean, warm room. The price felt reasonable, and there’s a big supermarket only a few minutes away by car. The amusement park is about a 10-minute drive. The hostess was pleasant, and breakfast is available for an extra fee. One thing to know is that there’s no Wi-Fi. The towels also had a strong smell, maybe from the fabric softener. I’d recommend the place.

Mr. and Mrs. Harms were so friendly and attentive, and we were completely happy with our stay. We spent four nights here for the Hurricane Festival, in a lovely double room with a balcony and a reserved covered parking space. The room was spotless, the beds comfortable, and that balcony view was my favorite part. We’d booked breakfast each day, and there was plenty to choose from, all nicely balanced, including homemade jams, fresh eggs, and cold cuts. I’d wholeheartedly recommend staying here, and we’d happily return. :-)

Mrs. Harms was a lovely host, knew the area well, and could suggest excursions if we needed ideas. Breakfast was delicious, and the accommodation was a handy base for reaching the main sights around the heath. The guest rooms felt rather small. The beds were comfortable, though you could feel the gap between the two mattresses. I also found the shower cleanliness less than ideal, the towels smelled of cigarette smoke, and the balcony didn’t screen us off from the neighboring room. There’s no Wi-Fi either.
