The beds and showers were comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. Parking and breakfast are included, and the price is really hard to beat. It’s a handy place to stop for the night on a long drive. The hotel is a little off the main roads, and there isn’t much to see in the small town, but it makes a great pit stop.

The room was good, and breakfast was good too. In the heat, a fan would have helped, since leaving the windows open by the busy road made it hard to sleep. If you can, go on Thursday for schnitzel evening. Those schnitzels were the best I’ve had so far.

It felt like a holiday at my grandfather’s place. He cooked us homemade dinner every evening, even when we got back late, and breakfast was always fresh. As a seasonal worker in Germany, I stay in a lot of hotels, but none have been as nice as this one. I felt right at home and we’ll definitely try to come back next season.
