There are great antiques all around this historic hotel, which feels both luxurious and practical. It’s a great spot, close to the airport and just 1 minute from the SBahn station. Breakfast was wholesome. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Munich.

For homestyle German food, this is the best restaurant in the area. Everything tasted delicious, the prices were excellent, and I’d highly recommend it.

A fair price for a decent hotel, with a typical Bavarian look in the rooms and around the place. It’s conveniently next to a small train station. Breakfast was mediocre, but enough.

The beer garden was amazing. It has that small-town feeling of eating among locals, though I have no idea if that’s actually the case. The food tasted great, and the restaurant and hotel staff were all friendly. The location is amazing, and the hotel is 10 minutes from the airport. My room was fine, if a bit small, but that didn’t really bother me since I wasn’t moving in. The TV, though, was ridiculous, by far the smallest flat-screen I’ve ever seen. It felt like they’d gone out of their way to find one that tiny. One thing I found disturbing was the prominent picture of the founder, I guess, in an SS uniform. It was on the website and in the room’s information pamphlets. I mean, what?

The location by the train station is excellent, and the staff are fantastic and friendly. But for a reputed 3-star hotel, the rooms really need a makeover. The mattress was quite horrid, and the bathrooms are tiny.
