TRYP by Wyndham Munich North

The room needs renovation and a much better clean. We stayed in 308, and the window was open when we arrived at 8 pm. That wasn’t OK in mid-October, especially with no heating at all. Small things like that matter, though given the price we weren’t too dissatisfied overall. Breakfast was actually great. There’s a bus stop right outside, the train station for the airport is conveniently close, and they provide free bottled water in the rooms. The stay wasn’t unpleasant.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel near the Munich airport. The rooms aren’t clean, and I encountered bed bugs during my stay. I don’t think the hotel staff took any serious steps to protect their clients. I took pictures as proof and will also go to the consumers protection association. Never book a night here!

I didn’t get to try the food, so I can’t comment on it, and since I didn’t pay for the room, I can’t say whether it was good value. I was placed here after a cancelled flight and wasn’t around for long. The staff were friendly, and although the room and bathroom were dated, it did the job as a place to sleep and recoup. The bed was very soft, which I liked. The shower head wouldn’t stay in place because its holder was broken.

Clean and practical, with everything I needed and very good value for money. I appreciated the late bar after arriving late from travel. Service was great, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. There’s on-site parking and breakfast for a small price. I’d stay again if I return to the area.
