The north-facing bedroom looks toward the dike and stays pleasantly cool in summer. The apartment is fantastic, with quality furnishings, lots of space, and a very clean feel.

Hartward made a great quiet base for us. Esens, Neuharlingersiel, and Carolinensiel were easy to reach, and boat trips to Langeoog and Spiekeroog are possible from the harbors. We also liked the petting zoo in Werdum. We had a really relaxing stay at Am Atelier II. The hosts were friendly and easy to deal with, and the apartment was modern and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, with appliances in excellent shape. We also appreciated the washer-dryer, two bikes, and the pair of loungers in the little garden. Parking right outside was handy. We felt at home and would happily recommend it :)
