Haus Hafenromantik

The noise from next door was the biggest drawback. The building has very poor soundproofing, and we could hear the neighbors constantly, almost like elephants stomping around. 😀 Still, our stay at Hafenromantik was good overall, and I can recommend it. A few small things could be better: paying €10 for five days of Wi-Fi in 2023 felt odd, and the shower really needs renovating. About the earlier complaints: laundry costs money, but you can bring extra clothes if you don't want to do it. And are people really on vacation to watch TV?

The apartment was clean and practical, with lots of storage, and the cable TV was excellent. We stayed in the Kiebitz apartment for four days. After looking at pictures of the others, though, ours seemed the least inviting. Apart from a three-piece picture, a clock, and a plastic flowerpot, there wasn't much to make it feel cozy, and the sitting area had no floor lamp. The fold-out bed had a good mattress, but no headboard and no pillows beyond the standard one, so it wasn't very comfortable to lie there. The free Wi-Fi was so weak that most of the time we couldn't use it. It would've helped if the apartment name had been shown clearly instead of the unhelpful number 2. There was no balcony, which made the lack of comfort indoors more noticeable, especially on rainy days when guests spend more time inside. Those are small issues, but together they would've made the stay more pleasant. It's still clean and functional, and a good choice for a short visit to this lovely holiday destination.

We spent Easter there and had a lovely time. The apartment was spotless and had everything a family needs.

After two awful days at another place, we were hoping Haus Hafenromantik would be better. It was, and we were so relieved when we arrived. Everything was very clean and just as described. The Murphy bed folds away during the day, leaving the living room useful and spacious, then turns into a sleeping area quickly in the evening. The woman at the office was friendly and shared helpful information. Thanks for rescuing our holiday!
