That lamb was the best I've ever eaten, perfectly cooked and so tender. I spent nearly six weeks in Neukirchen and ate here a few times. I’ve worked in catering and kitchens for more than 15 years, so I mean it when I say the food is superb. Florian, the owner and head chef, is a real master of his craft. His wife Fabi made me feel very welcome, and they’re both such kind people. I even got to celebrate the restaurant’s 275th anniversary with their family. What a memory to take home. Danke Florian und Fabi, dass ihr für mich lebenslange Erinnerungen geschaffen habt! Wir sehen uns wieder

The food was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I stayed here while on a cycling tour, and the rooms were really nice too. The sauna was a great bonus.

The room felt dated, and cleanliness could have been better. I also wasn't keen on waking up to a picture of two dolls staring straight at me, so I took it down as soon as I got in. That made the room's need for at least a fresh coat of paint even more obvious. I didn't book breakfast or eat it, but my company was still charged for it and had to get the bill corrected afterward. The hotel was alright overall.

The restaurant is the real highlight here. If you're not staying Monday to Tuesday, you can try it, and the meal is fantastic. The food is in a league of its own, and since they deliver, they clearly know what they're doing. Definitely recommend the restaurant. The hotel itself is simple and clean, with renovated rooms that are fine for a night or two.
