Einfelder Hof

Not a fancy place, but it’s cosy and charming, run by a nice family, and a pleasant change from franchise hotels. The restaurant and lounge were relaxing. The best Greek reataurant in the world was just around the corner, and the Kegel bowling was a blast while I was there. I was surprised, though, at how little Jargermeister German places kept in stock.

Avoid this place. The porter was strange and rude. The cheap price advertised online didn’t say breakfast was excluded, and at reception the porter refused to sell us breakfast. We had to get something to eat at the nearby Lidl.

I arrived with my son and was told there was no reservation for me and no rooms, even though Expedia had sent confirmation that the booking was confirmed. I spoke with a manager by phone, but there was no Wi-Fi or T-Mobile reception, so I felt powerless. I booked another, more expensive place, then called Expedia from there. Expedia contacted the hotel, and they immediately found a room, but by then it was too late. It’s disgusting that they couldn’t call Expedia themselves. I wish I could give less than one star, and I’ll probably repeat this review in multiple places.

It stinks, it’s dirty, and the service is rude.
