What stood out positively was the staff. The employees were consistently friendly and helpful, and seemed keen to make my stay pleasant. The guesthouse has two kinds of accommodation, older rooms that haven’t been renovated and newer buildings. The newer rooms are modern, comfortable, and well equipped, so I can understand their higher price. The older rooms are another matter. Their furniture looks ancient, parts of the floor are worn, and the old hotplates barely work reliably. They’re clearly showing their age, yet their prices keep going up each year. At those rates, the old rooms need urgent renovation. Charging more for worn-out lodging just because it’s in the courtyard makes no sense to me. If you want a modern, comfortable room, choose one of the new buildings. For what the old rooms cost, there are better choices nearby.

The farm and surrounding landscape are beautiful, and the staff were friendly and happy to answer our questions. I spent a week there with three teenagers who were beginners, and they still felt comfortable. The lounge lessons were well organized, and the riding instructors paid close attention to the kids. We all had a great time in our small but well equipped apartment. A special mention for the horse service that week: they patiently helped us saddle and unsaddle the horses. We’ll definitely return and recommend a holiday at the farm, even for a day trip ☺️👍

The dining room had a really nice atmosphere, which made the meal disappointing. We came for Christmas dinner, and the food was bland and tasteless. When some dishes ran out, it took half an hour before anyone asked whether we wanted something else. The staff never smiled. I know Christmas lunch is a stressful shift, but a smile still goes a long way. After 17 years in hotel-trained service work, I know it can be done better. I can only speak about the restaurant, not the rooms or horse farm.
