We had a great stay, and the price was good. It’s a great spot for groups.

We spent four days here with five adults and three children, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The owner gave us a very friendly welcome, and we felt at home. The house was really well equipped, with plenty of dishes, cutlery, and everyday supplies like kitchen roll, soap, toilet paper, and bin bags. We’d book it again anytime. Greetings from Solingen.

We found the house quiet, with nice rooms, lots of supplies, and exterior blinds that helped keep the heat out. The wardrobes were large, though there weren’t many hangers, and the rooms only had single beds. The landlord was nice, and the house itself could be lovely, but the photos showed the new bathrooms and nicer rooms, so some of what we found wasn’t clear in the listing. One bathroom was old, which we could have accepted, but it had no toilet, leaving us with just one to share. The stairs were extremely steep and the paint was very fragile. There was no garden as advertised. The terrace was out front with only six seats, so it wasn’t possible to sit outside comfortably or have a proper barbecue. The oven was dirty and heated inconsistently. Our bread usually came out like charcoal. It was okay overall, and we think the owner may keep renovating, but the online description was partly inaccurate. In summer, the shortage of outdoor seating was simply unacceptable.

It’s very peaceful here, with beautiful surroundings for hiking, road cycling, and mountain biking. The guesthouse itself was lovely, clean, and well maintained. Each room has two single beds. There isn’t much for children to do.
