That angled window above the top-floor bed was a hit with my son. He could lie there watching the stars as he fell asleep, and I was a little jealous. The room was nicely furnished and laid out. I came from abroad to see old friends, and we arranged dinner for 14 in the dining room. I gave the staff very little notice, but they handled the whole group’s needs flawlessly. The food and service were excellent, and we had a great time together in the bright, modern room. Everyone on staff was polite and helpful. We stayed for two nights and I have nothing but good things to say. I’ll be back. Thanks for such a great experience!

We didn’t get to visit the zoo because we arrived too late, and had to leave early the next morning. We’re planning to come back for a longer stay. The rooms were comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had lovely murals. Ours also had a balcony looking over the zoo, plus tea and coffee facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. There was plenty of dedicated parking nearby, and the hotel has lifts as well as stairs. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in.

Breakfast and bar service were both very good, and the staff were especially friendly and accommodating with our large group. We had an extended stay here and would happily visit again. Thanks for having us.

The owner remembered me from a visit months ago, and the woman serving breakfast was really friendly. Breakfast was decent, with plenty of bread rolls and scrambled eggs. The rooms could use some updating, though the owner said the whole hotel is being renovated, so I’m looking forward to coming back. The internet was fast, and having a bathtub was great for relaxing after a long day at work. It’s a really nice hotel with friendly staff, and I’d recommend it.

I was really satisfied with my stay. The staff at Hotel am Zoo were friendly and ready to help, and there’s a bar, restaurant, and terrace. Neunkirchen’s best hotel, in my view. The natural surroundings are breathtaking, and it’s only about five minutes by car from the center. Highly recommend it 👍🏻
