Treasury Hotel

I’d call this a smart hotel, and I had a great stay. The room was spacious, the bed very comfy, and it had an ironing board and iron plus a coffee and tea maker. I could watch Netflix and YouTube with my own account. There are parking spots behind the building, and more free parking along the street. Online check-in was quick and easy. I got a guest portal with an access code and extra information, including restaurant recommendations I thought were great. I went straight to my room without waiting in a line. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Düsseldorf.

Quiet surroundings and free parking on site made this a great fit if you have a car. It’s about 15 minutes by car from the city. The property feels brand new, with sleek modern interiors and everything very clean. Self check-in was easy, and the spacious room and toilet were comfortable. My son enjoyed playing the lovely piano in the lobby. There was a coffee machine, though two pods for two nights didn’t really make sense for a couple. The Wi-Fi was weak in the rooms. Great value for money.

We were obsessed with how calm the hotel felt, and there was no noise. We stayed for a weekend getaway, me and my younger sister, and are already planning to come back. The building used to be a bank, with an old vault at its center, and has been turned into a gorgeous minimalist hotel. Check-in went smoothly, the room was spotless, and the beds were comfy. Free parking and a great location, too. The whole place feels effortlessly cool.

The Treasury brings history together with stylish design. For me, it’s easily the best hotel in Neuss, with nothing else nearby that compares.
