Basiskulturfabrik Öko-Hotel

The Wi-Fi wasn't working when we arrived, and there was mold in the shower. That's not acceptable.

Breakfast was delicious, with a small but high quality selection, and the staff were very friendly. Service was excellent. The room, though, was incredibly noisy. We could hear every conversation from the neighbors. Furnishings were standard, and the mattress felt a bit hard. The extra blankets in the closet had lots of pet hair on them and apparently hadn't been washed, which is a real problem for someone with allergies.

The food was excellent, and there's a cinema in the neighboring building. Our room was small but had all the necessary furniture and a comfortable mattress. The building is so noisy that when someone's alarm rings, you can count on waking up at the same time 😉.

We had a great time relaxing in the beer garden, and our two dogs were warmly welcomed everywhere. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and the apartments are beautiful and equipped with everything you might need. Breakfast in the adjoining restaurant had everything we could wish for, and dinner there was delicious too. The staff were always pleasant to chat with and gave us helpful tips. We'd happily come back and highly recommend it.
