It’s a very quiet place, and you really need a car to get around. We brought our dog and were pleasantly surprised by the apartment’s lovely furnishings. It was fully fenced, and there was even a dog kennel for anyone who needs one. We spent a weekend there with the whole family and really enjoyed the break. The Schirner family was kind and friendly. The rooms were clean but a bit dated, which didn’t bother us. There was no Wi-Fi, but that wasn’t an issue for us. We had a wonderful stay.

Breakfast was fantastic, with something for everyone. We got a very warm welcome and could even pick up our key before the scheduled check-in time. The room was clean, nicely furnished, and a good size for two people. We stayed one night at the Schirner guesthouse, and if we need a place in the area again, we’ll definitely return.

Ute and her husband were fantastic hosts, and we hope to see them again soon. Having the guesthouse to ourselves made it easy to really relax, and our holiday was wonderful. The highlight for our little 5-year-old daughter was the pool. It had just been fitted with a roof this year, so she could splash around even when it was windy. The cat that lives on the farm during the summer months was another highlight 😅 We’d highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a truly peaceful holiday that’s still well connected to places for excursions. The view from the room and at breakfast is priceless 🥰😘. Ute is a lovely, warm host who always has great tips for excursions and other things to do. It’s a peaceful place to unwind after the stress of everyday life.

The rooms are charmingly furnished and clean, and breakfast is prepared with care. It’s a lovely family-run guesthouse where you get a friendly welcome and feel right at home. I highly recommend it.
