Pension Hubertus

We keep coming back to stay with Henk and Anne, Thierry and Roan. It feels like a home away from home, and they're a lovely family who do all they can to help. The rooms are spotless, with a fridge and plenty of hot water at any time of day. Breakfast is tasty and filling, and hairdryers are available if you ask. The village is peaceful, with nice walks nearby. It's also handy for an evening meal, with plenty of choice about 1.5 miles away, plus two petrol stations and a Norma supermarket. A lovely family and a well recommended place to stay, just off the A3 at junction 36, about halfway to our destination near Bamberg.

A balcony looking out over the village made the large, clean room even nicer. The pension is tucked into a calm little village, away from traffic, yet only about five minutes by car from the highway exit. It was just right for resting after a long day of driving. The tenant welcomed us and was very kind and helpful. They serve a continental breakfast for 5 euros, with cheese, meat, eggs, bread, butter, marmalade, cornflakes, coffee and fruit. As far as I could tell, dinner isn't served, but there are a couple of restaurants less than five minutes away by car. For the competitive price, I couldn't find anything to dislike. I'd come back!

Clean, tidy rooms and a peaceful rural setting make this a good value overnight stop. The motorway is just a couple of kilometres away.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the owner was pleasant. I really liked the hotel, especially the delicious breakfast. It was 50 euros per room. I'd recommend it!
