The beach and the unique Ghost Forest are only a short walk away, and we highly recommend the place. Huge thanks to Synke and the team at Pension Richter. We felt completely at home, surrounded by thoughtful furnishings, and the food was fantastic. Everything is homemade, cooked and baked with so much attention to detail. They also have a room for retreats, and really leave nothing to be desired. We'd love to come back!

We stayed at Pension Richter in Nienhagen for a short break from September 13th to 14th, 2025, and were warmly welcomed. Our room, Room 1 on the ground floor, was small, but we were comfortable there. The location is excellent, and parking is available at the front and back for €4. Breakfast was truly outstanding. They made the scrambled and fried eggs fresh, the rolls were warm and already sliced, and there was a good selection of cold cuts, cheeses, and homemade salads. We enjoyed excellent coffee in a cozy, charming atmosphere. The guesthouse clearly runs with a lot of heart. Many thanks to Mrs. Gruß and her team. We'd gladly return, perhaps to visit the Gespensterwald (Ghost Forest) again, practically right outside.

I've stayed with Synke several times for different retreats and events, and have also dropped in for the delicious breakfast buffet on seasonal weekends. The lovingly run guesthouse is easy to recommend. Its location makes it lovely to walk through the Gespensterwald (Ghost Forest) down to the beach. Thank you, Synke, for you and this beautiful place. I always love coming back.

The cake and breakfast were fantastic, and the walk to the beach through the forest was lovely. It's a wonderful guesthouse, furnished with care. I was welcomed so warmly that I felt at home right away, like I was visiting my favorite aunt.
