Center Parcs Park Bostalsee

It’s a really nice facility, but the windows don’t have screens even though the place is surrounded by nature, so lots of bugs can get inside. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms either, which could be a real problem in the hot summer months.

The location is lovely to walk around, though there are hills, so choose your cabin carefully if mobility is a concern. We weren’t sure there’d be as much to do in bad weather, since the indoor options are more limited. In good weather, there’s loads to enjoy: tennis, crazy golf, bowling, horse riding at a nearby stables, and the pool. The pool doesn’t have loads of attractions, but the slides and wave machine were fun, the outdoor pool is beautiful, and the water was warm. The whole area was spotless. Our accommodation was spacious and in great condition, clean, well kept, and well equipped. The beds were the one problem: rock hard, and the provided pillows were awful, so bring your own if you can. It’s a beautiful Center Parcs in a stunning setting.

We had fun in the dome, and our daughters loved the pony ride. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a little older than other parcs, but that gives it its own charm, and it’s a great place to spend time with family.

The kids had a wonderful time, and the staff were really friendly. We loved the beautiful location and all the activities, especially the cool, warm water park. Our home was clean and cozy, and having a fireplace was a nice touch.
