The food was really good, but the service was absolutely awful. We arrived on time, actually early, and nobody told us the restaurant couldn't handle a full house or that tables were expected to be finished within two hours. When we tried to order a starter, we were told there wasn't time to prepare it. After the main course, we got a horrible look for asking for dessert and another beer. They flat-out refused to serve another table another drink too, so we were lucky, I suppose. They blamed us for arriving too late, which made no sense since we'd got there early. We were also told other guests were waiting in the rain, but when we left, there wasn't a single person waiting to come in. We weren't the only ones treated like this. On our way out, we spoke to others who'd been rudely told to leave, and they'd never encountered behavior that rude either.

The owner's family is very kind, and the place itself is cozy and really nice. I do wish there were a lounge or lobby where you could read or have tea after a busy day. I didn't try lunch or dinner, but I think it's pricey.

About the restaurant, not the hotel: it's in a delightful, distinctive building, though the food was pretty bland.

We kept coming back here to eat during our holiday, and it became our favorite place on the island. The food and service were all great, 10 out of 10. 🤍

The room service was good, I slept really well, and everyone at the restaurant was very friendly. I stayed for four nights and had a great time. The restaurant and hotel are lovely, with beautiful decor. A 1000% recommendation.
