This lovely fishing cottage is set over two floors. The beach is about a 10-minute drive away, while supermarkets and downtown are within walking distance. There were no English instructions, so figuring out the washing machine and trash was a real ordeal. I suppose they don’t get many English speakers.

We could drive to the beach in just a few minutes, then come back to peace and quiet. The owners were very friendly, and we’d love to return. The house is beautiful, thoughtfully and comfortably furnished, and especially well suited to big families with children. We were also allowed to bring our dog.

The roof has a stunning view of the sunset, and the hosts were ideal, always replying promptly. This historic house is cozy and fully equipped, with a good internet connection and a lovely garden for relaxing or barbecuing. The location worked well for us too: we cycled to the beach in 15 minutes, and there are plenty of sports facilities there.

We found the Mackeriege holiday home clean and well maintained, with nothing to complain about. We had a wonderful short break, and our dog felt right at home too. The fenced garden is ideal when traveling with a dog, and we’d gladly recommend the place.
