After a day at the beach, it was nice to have enough space to play games in the evening, and the beds were comfortable. The rooms are a good size for sleeping and relaxing, though they might feel cramped if you plan to spend all day in them. For us, this was almost the perfect hotel for a trip to Norderney and an ideal base for exploring the island. Breakfast was better than average for a hotel, with lots to choose from and options that change daily and with the season. Staff were around when needed without getting in the way. There are public areas where groups can meet, and the place feels cozy and welcoming after a long day out. It’s close to the main streets and everything we wanted to see, but away from the heavy traffic. Prices are very reasonable, so it’s worth booking early. The unassuming exterior hides a friendly place that works well for families or couples wanting a little privacy. I’ll look at staying here again.

The staff were welcoming, and even with the Covid 19 restrictions I had a very pleasant stay. I imagine working under those conditions was difficult for them. The hotel is close to the main shopping area but away from the noise and bustle. My room was clean, a decent size, and laid out thoughtfully, with plenty of storage and a coat hook right by the entrance. Boutique hotels often leave you nowhere to hang a coat, so I appreciated that. The bathroom was roomy, though there was a step up into the shower. The room safe was included in the price, there was a reasonably sized fridge for personal use, and tea and coffee supplies were refreshed daily. There was also a desk. The beds were comfortable and long enough. The cleaning lady who looked after my room was professional and always smiling, and the room was kept perfect. Breakfast was buffet style, with small daily changes to the hot food and some variety in the cold options, so it didn’t get boring. The breakfast staff were friendly, and special requests like a sunny-side-up fried egg were no problem. Good price and good value. I’d recommend booking direct.

The staff were friendly and professional, with a real sense of service. The breakfast was high quality and well organized, and I found the sauna area relaxing.
