Haus Kluin Wohnung 8

The location is good, and the beds are comfortable. Apartment 1 is bright and well equipped, with cozy Ikea furnishings, a nice bathroom and a large shower. Dogs are allowed. The apartment could use some renovation, though. The walls are worn and need repainting, the damaged lampshades should be replaced, the window frames cleaned, the living room light switches renewed, and the warped kitchen door panel replaced. These are small jobs, but it'd be nice to see them done. Although it's described as sleeping four, I think it's really suitable for at most two small children. Their separate adjoining room is only about 4 square meters and has an old bunk bed and a little table with two chairs. At around €170 a night including the dog, I felt the price was a bit high given the cosmetic issues. Update: a bedroom door handle was loose, but someone from Trost came and fixed it within two hours. Hats off to them, and thanks!

Check-in was simple, and the location is hard to beat: only a few minutes from both the sea and the center, while still being quiet. Apartment 2 was modern, spotless, and comfortable, with a kitchen that had everything we needed. I'll definitely return and recommend it.

We've stayed at Haus Kluin's Apartment 4 several times and have enjoyed every visit. It's bright and spacious, with modern, lovely furnishings like the other apartments in the building. The kitchen is well equipped, and the place is central while still close to the beach.

The location was a real plus: shops are practically around the corner, and both the beach and town are just a few minutes away. The apartment was clean, the upstairs was nice, and it had what we needed apart from the frying pans, which really need replacing. The window privacy screens were necessary since guests using the back entrance could otherwise see inside. We still had a lovely week on Norderney. At Haus Kluin, Apartment 9, we were surprised that there wasn't a separate entrance, even though the description explicitly said there would be one. Other guests kept using the hallway outside our apartment to get to the courtyard where their bikes were stored. The laundry room was also right beside us, so people were constantly passing our door and making noise. That's not what we expected from a 'private entrance'.
