The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean. The building itself feels quite dated, though: some blind cords are missing, and there were stains on the floor and bed. With a stroller, getting inside already means tackling too many steps, let alone reaching the fourth floor. We were also disappointed to find that the place looked somewhat different from the website photos.

We got a lot for the money: a large, bright, clean apartment, a well-equipped kitchenette, and friendly staff who were happy to help. The location was great too. 101% value!

The central location worked really well, and breakfast at the Austernfischer was very good. The staff there were friendly and helpful. Our apartment at Rosa Lena was clean and tidy, though it didn't feel especially cozy. The kitchenette was set very high, and with only shelves for clothes, storage wasn't practical for four people. I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay.

Breakfast was a highlight: a generous selection, a fully automatic coffee machine, and everything tasted fantastic. Our room was quiet, and we hardly heard the other guests. We were happy with the stay, especially because everything was clean and the staff were consistently courteous and friendly, particularly at reception. The room itself is small and showing its age. Think hotel room with a kitchenette, folding table, one chair, and a window seat, rather than an apartment or big flat. There is a small open wardrobe, a shelf above the bed, and two shelves beside it. The kitchenette is fine for simple meals, but there's not enough space for proper cooking. With more luggage or a longer stay, it would feel cramped. The bed isn't very large and has no separate mattresses, but it was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is small, with enough storage and a nice large shower. Reception and breakfast are at the Logierhaus Austernfischer. The hotel isn't suitable for people with disabilities, and the rooms aren't quite as stylish, new, or spacious as they appear online. Still, for a short break we were satisfied. If you don't mind a compact space, we highly recommend Rosa Lena for its value. We visit the island regularly and will definitely return.

We slept better here than at any hotel before. The beds were so comfortable, and having two pillows to choose from was perfect. Our apartment for two was large, clean, and nicely warm even in January. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were very friendly. We'd love to come back!
