Getting here is easy, with a bus stop right outside, and the hotel feels very cozy. Ben, the owner, is friendly and works hard. I stayed for 6 days, and the breakfast was both delicious and healthy. I'll definitely pick Hotel Maromme again next time I'm in Norderstedt. Bruce

The breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and tasty, with strong coffee. The staff are very kind, and the whole hotel smelled nice. My room was tidy and the bed comfortable. The furniture is old, but clean and well repaired. For me, it was worth five stars.

Out back there's a lovely, peaceful garden with a big pond and koi. It's really idyllic and relaxing.

The welcome was pretty average, and the receptionist's humor was inappropriate. They deliberately gave false information, and breakfast was a sub-zero experience. Too bad the rating can't go below one star.

The receptionist was creepy and the service was disgusting. He gave us wrong information about breakfast: first he said it was only at 7 am, then that it ran until 9 am. We saw people eating at 10:30 and asked him, and he said, “yes its till 11”. Are you serious?
