Centro Hotel Norderstedter Hof

I was traveling on a budget, and this was the best hotel I stayed at across Germany, Sweden, and Denmark. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. The shower was a little small and could be tough for bigger people, and breakfast was a bit weak. There’s parking and WiFi in the lobby. A great place, and the prices aren’t the only good thing about it.

The internet is very, very fast, and you can easily take a bus into Hamburg. The hotel is also near a bus station and two large supermarkets. The rooms and everything else were clean, and the people there were respectful, nice, and helpful. It’s a beautiful, inexpensive hotel that I enjoyed staying at for four nights. If you want somewhere affordable, clean, and nice, with good bus connections and almost everything nearby, I’d recommend it. For me, it’s a wonderful hotel.

The staff are very friendly and kind, and the rooms are okay. I’ve stayed here a few times, but the beds were bad almost every stay, with the springs poking me all night. If they changed or fixed the mattresses, the rest would be pretty good.

One thing that concerned me was the windows in our sixth-floor room: they open all the way, and there are chairs someone could climb on. Big oak trees outside in the garden have branches close to the hotel walls, with plenty of acorns on them. I can imagine a child reaching out toward the branches and falling from that height. A simple window lock could prevent it, and I hope they install one soon. We enjoyed our stay otherwise, with good parking, friendly staff, and a good location. The rooms were nice and a good size, though some might call them a bit dated.
