Haus im Halligweg 18

The cleaning staff did a really good job and seemed to care, which I can't say for the landlord. We felt as if our money was all that mattered, and that was a letdown, especially since the house itself is lovely and in a perfect location. This isn't hospitality. We'd stayed here several times, most recently three years ago, but we won't book again. On arrival, the blank tourist tax form was left on the table beside an information folder with a 2017 North Beach booklet and no explanation. The storage space under the stairs was cluttered, which made the living room less cozy. There was no working light at the front or back of the house, and several lights inside didn't work either. We told Mr. Jöns about the broken bulbs. The next day, two were left by the door without a word, one too large and the other broken. The listed beach chair was missing. The mismatched terrace furniture and cushions were like the assortment of cutlery, dishes, and glasses. The clothes rack was badly patched, as were the wallpaper in the children's room and paint in several rooms. The shower door seals need replacing, and the shower head kept falling onto our head or feet. In almost every room, the curtains were hanging from only half their rings. Photos show the condition.

I really don't understand the bad reviews. The house was cozy and in very good shape when I stayed. I think I'll come back next time 🎀🌷

There’s plenty of room, and the house is cozy and tidy. I'd recommend it!
