The food was really good, especially the ratatouille and fish and chips, which I’d definitely suggest trying. Mary was kind, helpful, and knew her stuff, and the serving staff were great too. Everyone made me feel welcome, without the stiffness or laissez faire attitude you sometimes come across. My room was clean and comfortable, with AC, and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve found in Germany. It wasn’t a rock! I left feeling a little more full-hearted. Thanks for such a lovely stay. This is my go-to hotel in the area from now on.

The food was pretty good, and the menu looks interesting, so we’ll come back and try more. My boyfriend had the Wiener Schnitzel with Bratkartoffeln and Pfeffersauce. The schnitzel was amazing on its own, and the sauce was a nice topping. He also had a small salad with Balsamico Dressing, which I prefer to the Joghurt Dressing on my Rumpsteak natur, though neither dressing felt especially special to me. I’d expected the medium-rare steak to be juicy, but something about it seemed a bit odd. We came just for a meal. The service was friendly, but quite slow. We waited about 10 minutes before someone brought the menu, then around 40 minutes for the food. With two beers, it came to about 50€ for the two of us. Hopefully the next visit will go better.
