Brunnen Apartments

Nurnberg is overflowing with culture, and staying in this apartment was the icing on the cake for our time there. It’s very close to the city center. The place is beautiful, with large windows that open, so the rooms feel light and fresh. The furnishings are elegant and tasteful. I’d definitely recommend it.

The room was A301, facing the back of a retail building, so the view wasn’t much. Still, the location was excellent: one U-bahn stop from the main train station, then a level 2-3 block walk. Tram stops were close too, and there were good restaurants and quick takeaway and street food around. The street itself was quiet, with more activity a block away in either direction. One thing to plan around: the service side of the opposite building gets deliveries. During my three nights, a box truck unloaded around 4am each day and woke me with the windows open. The windows are good quality, and closing them mostly blocked the noise. It’s not something the apartment can control. Everything else worked exceptionally well. The place looked brand new, everything worked, and it was modern with lots of outlets. Good water pressure, good bedding, and enough kitchen supplies. It was all better than it needed to be. Self check-in was easy if you follow the steps: you make your own key card, then at checkout just drop it in the slot and they’re notified. This is one of the rare times the technology actually works and adds value instead of being something to put up with.

We were comfortable here, and management did their best to make our room change hassle-free when we couldn’t add another night. We got a booking in the apartment next door instead. This place was a real gem: a quiet street just behind the buzzy high street, excellent location, and different-sized apartments, some big and some small, with everything you need. I’d definitely recommend it. There’s no reception area, but don’t worry. They sent three codes, the entrance box opened, and our keys were inside. The tricky part was the lock to the first floor and our door. Use the magnetic key to unlock it, then quickly turn the dial a few times or the door won’t open. It takes a little practice. Turn clockwise 2-3 times and hold.

Very central location, with new, well-equipped furnishings. The apartment was quiet, spotless, and had everything. Highly recommended! 👌🏻
