The owner was extremely friendly and took the time to answer all my questions. I was only staying overnight and hadn’t booked breakfast, but I’d happily come back. There’s street parking in front of the accommodation, and Gasthaus Weißes Lamm is within walking distance for delicious, hearty Franconian food. It was packed and the staff were very friendly, so I’d recommend reserving. For getting around, I found the public transport connections good. There are plenty of P+R spaces along the way, and I used the free lot at Langwasser-Süd before taking the U1. The trade fair was easy to reach on the U1 too. The accommodation is about 30 minutes from Nuremberg Central Station and the Lotto Academy. Parking near the main station can be difficult, so that route worked perfectly for me. The landlords were super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very nice and comfortable. It’s on a quiet side street and easy to reach by car or public transport. The bus stop is a five-minute walk away; buses run to the subway every 10 or 20 minutes, with good connections to the trade fair grounds, city center, and main train station.

Traditional Bavarian houses sit alongside modern apartment buildings, giving the neighborhood a cozy but contemporary feel. It’s a charming, peaceful district on Nuremberg’s southern edge, with a slower pace of life and a nice balance of suburban calm and city amenities. Public transport is relatively good, though a car may be needed for everyday commuting or trips to the center, about 20-30 minutes away. I think Kornburg Quarter suits families, retirees, or anyone wanting a quieter life while staying within easy reach of what Nuremberg offers.
