The room wasn’t as advertised, and we ended up stuck with the bill. I booked a room in Germany through this app, but the information on VBRO wasn’t accurate. We couldn’t use the room, so we had to pay for another hotel for three nights. No one seemed to care that we’d paid for a room that was described incorrectly. We asked for a refund, but everyone said it wasn’t their fault.

I’d recommend it. Check-in and checkout were straightforward, and the owner was around most of the time. My room was spacious, with a large bed, sofa and other furniture, and the location puts you right in the middle of the Altstadt.

They cancelled both of the rooms we’d booked, giving us a month’s notice.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the rooms were spacious. Check-in was easy too.

We never got a response when we later asked to speak with hotel management, and we still haven’t received a refund for not checking in. The room was dirty, the bedding hadn’t been changed, and the service was poor. We couldn’t reach the staff, so we had to cancel our stay because the bedding couldn’t be changed. It was a very unpleasant experience, and I wouldn’t want to go through it again. I don’t recommend staying here; look for somewhere else.
