Hotel Klughardt

Breakfast was fresh, and the service was very good. The staff were especially lovely and clearly dedicated, while the hotel itself was clean and comfortable. It’s in a quiet, pleasant suburb, about an eight-minute drive from the train station. Getting to Nuremberg’s attractions takes longer, so expect a lot of walking or use public transport.

Friendly, very good service and a good breakfast. The rooms were clean too, so I’d recommend this hotel.

The tram stop is just 200m away, and it gets you to the Old Town center in a few minutes. Our stay was great: the hotel felt cozy, clean, and spacious, and the staff were friendly. Truly worth 5 stars!

The tram makes it easy to get to the hotel and connects to the main railway station. It’s in a neighborhood, and the staff were friendly, though I didn’t have much interaction with them. Wi-Fi was free but sometimes slow, with ups and downs. I’m not sure whether that was the provider or the hotel, so expect some inconsistency. My room was number 306 in the attic. It had a single bed, and the furnishings were basic rather than particularly impressive. Other reviews mention more up-to-date rooms, so it seems to vary. It was clean, at least. I was disappointed by breakfast after reading the good reviews. I don’t usually eat breakfast, but tried it here and found the food quality underwhelming. The coffee was okay. I booked late during trade fair season. When fairs are on, Nuremberg is a complete catastrophe, with too few hotels and prices going through the roof. For what I paid, the quality-price ratio was very poor. At normal prices it’s an okay budget hotel, but I wouldn’t choose it again if I had other options.
