We were sitting on the terrace in a lovely atmosphere, with friendly service, fair prices, and only a short wait. We’d gone out for an evening walk and initially just wanted a drink, but ended up ordering the “Fleischküchle” meatball with potatoes and red cabbage with apples. What a great Franconian meal. The meatball was juicy and tasty, and the red cabbage with apple was seasoned superbly. They made an ordinary dish feel like a real treat. The beer was good too!

Tried Burger Week at Petzengarten Nürnberg today and really enjoyed it. Lovely setting, great service, and the burger was spot-on. Can’t wait to go back for another one. 🍔🔥 #BurgerWeek #NürnbergEats #Petzengarten

I only came for lunch, not an overnight stay. The welcome was warm, and the traditional Bavarian food was excellent and good value. I’d definitely recommend it.

The rooms are fairly basic, but clean and quite spacious. The restaurant has excellent Franconian food at good prices, with a nice traditional feel.
