Park Inn by Radisson Nuremberg

The location was good, breakfast decent, and rooms clean. One of the elevators was out of order, so sometimes there was a queue for the other one. We had requested a double bed when booking but were given twin beds instead, with the explanation that the hotel was fully booked. Had I known from the beginning that a double bed couldn’t be guaranteed, I would have chosen another hotel.

Getting around was effortless: public transport is right nearby, and you can walk to everything. Our room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and there were more amenities than I expected. The staff were incredibly friendly, and we had a lovely chat. I’d definitely recommend it.

The staff were so polite and helpful, and the reception, bar, and breakfast room were all nice. Breakfast had a good range of options. Our room was small but had what we needed, apart from a mini fridge, and one of the USB plugs didn’t work. We also heard some noise from nearby rooms at night. It’s within walking distance of the center, though the neighborhood didn’t feel nice to me: noisy streets, casinos, the red light district, and shady-looking men in the alleys. We still had a pleasant stay, largely thanks to the staff, who made up for the downsides.

I keep coming back here when work takes me to Nuremberg. The rooms, cleanliness, and breakfasts have all been fine, but the customer service is what stands out. A special thanks to Isabela from the Front Office for handling a “demanding” customer so well.
