The breakfast goes on quite late, and I especially liked the salmon and Prosecco. There’s plenty of seating in the large breakfast room, plus a bar open at night and a sauna downstairs. The hotel sits beside a gorgeous park with lakes and lovely views, and the rooms are quiet with comfortable bedding. Mobile reception was almost nonexistent in parts of the hotel, especially around the lobby and bar. This was our second year staying here, and we’ll probably return next year. Great hotel.

I paid over $700 for two nights in one room with two single beds, and it was a terrible experience. Smoke kept coming into my non-smoking room all night through the door cracks and AC vents, even with the AC turned off. I slept with the windows and curtains wide open to air it out and got less than three hours of sleep. I told the front desk, but all they did was air out the hallway, which helped for maybe 20 minutes. The shower was awful too. The tub took 30 minutes to fill, the shower head barely had enough flow to rinse soap from my hair, and the temperature swung about 10C every 30 seconds, from scalding to very cold. I could only stand under it for about 10 seconds at a time. I booked here because it was the only hotel within walking distance of the convention. I’d never stay again, even if someone paid me.

The rooms and breakfast were great. It’s a bit far from the city center, but we got around just fine.

My room was cold, and when I asked what could be done, they said it was summer, even though it was rainy and less than 13°C outside. This was one of the worst four-star hotels I’ve stayed in. Thank God the company paid, not me. The hotel is very old and urgently needs remodeling. Horrible experience.
