I'm from the USA and used to stay here for work. The scenery and hiking were amazing, and Susanne and Wolfgang, the owners, made me feel like part of their family. It became one of my favorite places to visit and stay.

We came for dinner and found really good food, excellent beer, and friendly service in a typically cozy Bavarian interior. It felt very authentic. I'd recommend it 10/10.

We stayed here as a stop on the way to Italy and were pleasantly surprised. The village is very small, so there aren't many other restaurants nearby. Still, the place itself is lovely, with flowers all around the pretty building and a beautiful mountain view. Our room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The staff were super friendly, and dinner in the beer garden was delicious. Even though it was packed, the food came out quickly and everyone stayed friendly without seeming stressed. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

They even have a playground for kids, which is rare and much appreciated. The selection of dishes is surprisingly broad, and the Bavarian food feels authentic. Quite possibly the best place in the area.

We were in the area and needed somewhere to eat, and this turned out to be a wonderful choice. The staff welcomed us, and we managed with the waitress's English and Google Translate. My daughter doesn't eat meat, and her fish dish was great, though it came with ketchup. My son and I really enjoyed the local dishes we ordered. I'd recommend it to anyone staying nearby.
