Das Hardberg

One of the best places I've ever stayed. Absolutely amazing.

A super bed and breakfast.

I felt very welcome from arrival onward. There's someone available throughout the day if you need help or have a question, either in person or by phone, and the care is lovely. Parking is right by the house, with four spaces, including one suitable for electric vehicles. The rooms, kitchen area, and coffee corner are all step-free; there are two steps to the lounge seating area and terrace. The shared spaces are especially handy: a large lounge with comfy seats, a long table, and shelves stocked with novels and local information. The terrace has plenty of room and cushioned furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a guest fridge and a broad choice of chilled alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, almost like a maxi-bar. There's also a coffee machine and kettle in the central hallway for everyone to use. All four rooms are tastefully furnished, and the website photos are genuinely accurate, which is rare and lovely. Everything is clean, thoughtfully laid out, and decorated with care. The rooms have a TV, small extra fridge, hand soap, shower gel, and the other basics. The mattresses are really comfortable, and curtains or outside blinds can darken the room. Soundproofing is excellent too, even when someone else is making coffee in the hallway. It's a wonderful guesthouse, and I'd happily stay there again soon.

In summer, the lovely terrace is a nice place to sit. Inside, there's a spacious shared living area and a fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are modern and furnished with great taste, which makes The Hardberg one of the best places I've stayed.
