The rooms were filthy, with wet towels left on the floor, sheets that hadn't been changed, and empty beer bottles. We tried reaching the owner by phone, email, and WhatsApp, but got no reply. At this price, I wouldn't stay here.

My favorite place in Oberammergau.

Parking right outside and a balcony looking over greenery and the mountains made the stay especially nice. The apartment was clean, modern, and roomier than we expected, with thoughtful furnishings, plenty of storage, and a fantastic shower. It felt like everything was there to make us comfortable. The central location made everyday errands easy, and many attractions were close by. Booking was smooth from the start, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to find solutions. We'd happily return.

The kitchen was tastefully equipped with everything we needed, including an oven, and the walk-in shower was great. The place was nicely warmed for us, with lovely wood and furnishings, and parking was available. Supermarkets and the town center are an easy walk away. It's also just a minute from the Passion Play. My one concern is the stairs up to the sleeping area. They really need a handrail, ideally on both sides. Older people, who may be less mobile or prone to dizziness, could be at risk on them.

We'd gladly come back and still give it five stars. Everything was great, except the very modern couch was hard and uncomfortable.
