Ferienwohnung Schauberger

The Königscard comes with the apartment and gives access to lots of free activities. It’s also only about a five-minute walk to the Laber mountain station, and there are plenty of hiking routes from the apartment, including Aufacker, Kofel, Kolbensattel, Laber, Altherrenweg, and Unterammergau. My husband found this place, and we’ve made it a yearly visit since 2013. The apartment is beautifully furnished, with a combined living and sleeping area, kitchen, small safe, lovely bathroom, little hallway, and storage room. It’s on the lower floor of a hillside house, with a terrace looking toward Notkarspitze and the local mountain, the Kofel. The Schauberger couple live upstairs. Mr. and Mrs. Schauberger are so friendly, always happy to answer questions and share tips. We’ve never had hosts like them. Hygiene facilities are available, too. We’d gladly stay at Ferienwohnung Schauberger again and again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+

It’s peaceful here, a little away from the town center, and you can hear cowbells with a lovely mountain view. Mr. and Mrs. Schauberger welcomed us as soon as we arrived, and there was a small gift waiting when we went inside. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need, and the bathroom is spacious. The beds were made up, towels were provided, and there was even coffee, tea, spices, and more. There’s also a bread delivery service: order rolls and the hosts arrange for them to arrive the next morning. They gave us lots of information about attractions and places to visit. The biggest bonus was the King's Card, which lets you visit over 200 attractions and sights for free. You’re really looked after here. We’ll definitely be back!

The included Königscard can save you a lot, with gondola rides, boat trips, thermal baths, swimming pools, and plenty more available for free. The apartment itself is small but charming, clean, modern, and clearly furnished with care. It’s very well equipped: washing machine, dishwasher, stove with convection oven, fridge with freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, Wi-Fi, books and DVDs. There’s a TV in both the living room and bedroom, and the new bathroom has a shower and underfloor heating. Outside, you get your own terrace with a table and chairs, plus sun loungers. There’s a bread delivery service as well. The owners are friendly and ready to help with anything you need. Highly recommend this holiday apartment!!

The landlords live in the same house and were really nice and helpful. The little holiday apartment is beautiful, very clean, and peaceful, with a fantastic view. They also offer a delicious bread roll delivery service 👍
