The hosts were attentive but discreet, and had reserved a lovely, spacious room for us with a view of Kofel, Oberammergau's landmark. Breakfast was good, too. The property is just steps from the Kreuzigungsgruppe and about a ten-minute walk from central Oberammergau. We'll definitely return.

Breakfast was good, and the owner was kind and helpful. The view from my window was spectacular, as was the 20-square-meter outdoor patio. My huge upstairs room had coordinated built-in closets, a coffee table, two armchairs, and a mini-fridge in a small cupboard. You reach it by a spiral staircase. The bathroom felt heavenly and spacious, with a corner shower, whirlpool tub, standard toilet, and standing toilet. There are about four or five convenient parking spots in the lot in front of the entrance. Gästehaus is a very charming place.

I've stayed here twice with my two boys, now 14 and 16, and we'll be back again this summer. The room is great, and the owners are easy-going. It's quiet, right at the foot of Kofel, and only a few minutes from the bike park and summer toboggan run, both of which I highly recommend.
