The breakfast buffet was amazing, with a bigger selection than I’d ever seen. We were a family of four staying for one night in February, and the two women working there were so kind and helped us with everything. A couple of small issues: the shower door didn’t keep water inside the cubicle, and the sheets trapped so much heat that I woke up sweaty. Still, we had a superb stay. Thanks to the hotel management. The building had been renovated recently and was clean, but that was about all I liked. Our room was freezing because the heaters were off, and even by morning it had barely warmed up. With no water in the kitchen, the rooms, or on the floor, we couldn’t even make a hot drink. Breakfast was poor too, with boiled eggs the only proper hot option. Reception closes at 15:00, so we had to check ourselves in, and there was nobody around at checkout either. We left the keys on the desk. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Our rooms felt warm and welcoming, with lots of decorative touches. The Dwars family were lovely and made us feel at home, and you can tell how much care and dedication they put into the hotel. Such a charming stay!
