We only visited the cafe and restaurant, but the welcome was so good that we’d happily stay here next time we’re in the area.
10/10
The meals were a real highlight: delicious, nicely presented, and surprisingly affordable for a resort like this. The spa and other amenities made it easy to relax, and the grounds were lovely to wander around. From the moment we arrived at Feuriger Tatzelwurm, the architecture and natural setting impressed us. The resort feels both luxurious and welcoming, with thoughtful details throughout. Staff were warm and attentive, and helped make this one of our most memorable stays. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend it if you’re after beauty, comfort, and good value.
6/10
The reception, spa, cat, and peaceful atmosphere were all things I loved. But twice I saw and heard the waiter with no hair speak rudely and condescendingly to other staff right in front of guests. That’s not okay. It made me so uncomfortable that I lost the relaxed feeling I’d had after the sauna, and my appetite was gone too. Please find staff who won’t spoil the atmosphere for everyone.
4/10
The restaurant staff were very rude. As an English-only speaker, I was told off in German for taking too long to order dinner, asking for more water, and requesting Kaiserschmarrn without raisins, among other things. I wouldn’t recommend it.
4/10
The location is perfect and the rooms are great, but the service was terrible. When I asked if someone could fill my bottle with water, they told me to do it in the bathroom and had a terrible attitude about it. At a four-star hotel I expected a bit more kindness and help with such a basic need. I wouldn’t come back.
