Hotel Europa

The cancellation policy was especially appreciated, and the staff were very helpful. It was a great choice for our family’s short visit to Munich. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it.

The room was tiny and dingy, with no real ventilation, and I couldn’t adjust the thermostat myself. The kettle was dirty, though I couldn’t tell what was on it. Staff at reception were rude, and other staff seemed to treat basic requests as if some government rule prevented them. They wouldn’t help bring our luggage to the room or replenish the water bottles. For a family, this place doesn’t work. It’s probably the worst so-called four-star hotel we’ve stayed in, and at best I’d rate it two stars. I wouldn’t return. If I were you, I’d cancel and stay somewhere else.

The rooms were clean and modern, and the breakfast buffet had a very nice selection. The hotel is near the city center, with plenty of restaurants around, and otherwise it was fine, if a little lacking in character. What spoiled the stay was the receptionist with blond hair, who was unfriendly and seemed annoyed with us from the outset. Our room also wasn’t cleaned after the first night.

We had a comfortable, very clean room with everything we needed. The breakfast had a good range of food and was really enjoyable. The bar and terrace were clean too, and the staff were friendly. It’s in a great spot, with trams, the subway and buses nearby. I’d definitely recommend the hotel.
