Helvetia Rooms – Self Check-In

I checked out on 4 Dec after staying at the hotel from 1-4 Dec. That same evening I called because I’d left two perfumes in the room. The reception staff member was not polite and gave me no information about them, just put me off with different reasons like needing to check with the cleaners or asking me to call later. I called every day and still got nothing. I want my things back. This is theft, and it’s impossible that you didn’t find them when I called on the exact same day. If I don’t get them back, I’ll contact the police. It’s impossible that the hotel team doesn’t know who cleaned the room, and the staff were so rude and unprofessional. I also sent an email and got no reply.

A comfortable room and a handy base in the city center. Most places are close by, and Munich Central Station is only a short walk away, which made getting around easy.

The staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast had plenty to choose from: cheeses, salami, pepperoni, fruit juice, eggs, cakes, croissants, bread, cornflakes, and jam. Our room was clean and roomy enough, with lovely hot water. The city center location was easy to reach from the airport by subway, and haupthbanof central station was very close too.

Lydia was fantastic with directions and suggestions, and the service was excellent. The hotel was clean, though my room felt a little dated and I had a power outage. I'd stay here again.
