Haus International Hostel

The breakfast was good for a hostel, with buns, spreads, yogurt, meat, and cheese. The room was basic, but the price was very good and the lockers with keys felt secure. Having a night security guard was nice, too. The shared bathroom got crowded, so it could use more stalls. The showers could also be more private, since there was only a short curtain.

The receptionist was very welcoming, and we had a good time at the disco. The rooms were clean, though the bathroom was tiny and the shower was separate from it. The food was fine, nothing special but still good.

WiFi kept dropping every few minutes, so I had to sign in again and again. The showers were annoying too: after about a minute the water shut off, and you had to press the button to restart it. Otherwise it wasn't bad. The food was decent, the downstairs lounge was nice, and the staff were friendly. They also had a disco event in the basement one night, which was pretty cool.

The building and entrance look very nice from outside, but the corridors to the rooms are gloomy. It's a classic hostel with a German feel, and the rooms are very basic, though clean. There aren't enough outlets for charging. A few days before the stay, they wrote to say not to park next to the property and that parking would cost extra, even though the listing described parking. Breakfast was one of the saddest I've had. Fine for a few days, but I wouldn't stay longer.
