The central location and roomy shower were the only real positives. We weren't told before arrival that construction was happening in the hotel and right outside our room. A small sign by the lift said drilling could start at 7am. We were woken by it shortly after seven on two of our three mornings, which was really frustrating. The room didn't seem very clean: the floor was dirty and supplies were sparse. In a room for three, there were only two coffee pods, and there was no kettle despite the kitchenette having a hob, pots, and pans. On the first day we asked for more pods and for the floor to be cleaned. We were told the team had been informed, but neither request was handled, even after we followed up a couple of times. The poor cleaning, lack of service, and unexpected early drilling made the stay disappointing.

The stay was fine for the price. My single studio and bathroom were clean, the blackout curtains helped me sleep well, and the bad recent reviews had made me worry more than I needed to. I didn't cook, though the kitchenware looked a bit dirty. The last morning was uncomfortable. Check-out was at 11, but around 9:40 the housekeeper knocked several times, then unlocked the door and came in. I had just showered. I wasn't naked or changing then, but what if I had been? I didn't want to make a fuss as a foreigner, so I kept quiet for about five minutes before going into the hallway to ask why they'd opened the door and whether they knew the check-out time. They apologized, but it still left me uneasy. Around München Hauptbahnhof, the area seems a bit like a Middle Eastern street, and sometimes you smell drugs, so be careful in the evening.

A good apartment for a weekend away. Could've used a few more coffee capsules.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and neat, though smaller than it looked in the pictures. The location is ideal, with lots of transport connections close by.

The location is excellent, and that's about the main thing going for it. The room's small and a little dirty, but otherwise I had no problems.
