Being within walking distance of places of interest was the one thing I liked. In October 2025, a drunk woman next door screamed at the top of her lungs from 11pm through 3am. The concierge was unavailable, and no one did anything. I would not stay here again even if it were FREE. The place is not worth bragging about, so look for another hotel. The room felt unsafe: the hallway floor is 1.5 inches higher than the room floor, a trip and fall hazard. The shower was small, 12-18 off the floor, and the step up was too high, especially for older people. The slippery tile meant stepping out 15 inches down. The hair dryer didn’t work, the wiring looked very sketchy, and there was no heat in the room. We complained and got a $10 electric space heater, which wasn’t enough. If those things don’t matter to you, feel free to pay them. I warned you!

This mid-level hotel was acceptable, though it had some odd quirks. The room was quite cold, and the bathroom wasn’t very clean, with some hair and dirt in the shower. The keys were stubborn. On the plus side, the rooms were spacious and the beds reasonably comfortable. It’s central to marienplatz and central station.

I had a wonderful trip to germany over Christmas. The staff were really nice and made us feel welcome. They let us leave our luggage there when we arrived early, and served free coffee in the morning.

The service was very friendly. The location was alright, fairly close to the center and central station, though it’s not the nicest neighborhood. The rooms were clean and roomy. The beds weren’t the best, but reasonable for the price. I’d maybe get rid of the wall-to-wall carpets, since I doubt they can be cleaned as well as hard floors.

This place has clearly seen better days, and it’s time to say goodbye. If you have an early flight, be prepared to carry your suitcases down the stairs: they shut off the lift from 10 PM to 7 AM. That’s ILLOGICAL!!!! It’s not suitable for travelers, older people, or early birds. Zero recommended.
