DO & CO Hotel München

The DO CO Bistro was a highlight. Its design, coordinated colors and lighting were lovely, and the food was excellent. The beef tataki was the best we've ever had, and the generous “Best of” breakfast was outstanding. It's just a short walk to both the opera and Marienplatz, only a few steps away, and the valet parking was quick and reliable. We came for a January opera visit and chose DO CO Munich because we needed to be within a five-minute walk of the opera. We'd stayed at Bayerischer Hof on earlier trips. A strike blocked access on arrival and caused complications, but we did manage to check in. The building and interiors are elegant and modern, yet the hotel feels calm, intimate and welcoming. Our room was spacious, cozy and simply but pleasantly furnished, with nice ambient lighting. It didn't match the photos for the category we'd paid for, though, and I really dislike attic rooms in hotels. We then realized we'd arrived before the official 3:00 p.m. check-in, so perhaps another room wasn't available yet. That was the only downside. Everyone was kind and attentive, from the valet team and reception to the staff at the DO CO Bistro, where we had dinner and breakfast. Although the hotel shares a building with the FC Bayern Munich brand store, it was wonderfully quiet. We weren't disturbed from outside or inside. Thanks to everyone at the DO CO Hotel for a lovely stay. We'd be very happy to return.

We'd happily stay at the DO & CO Hotel in Munich again. The location is hard to beat, and the staff really care about guests and their comfort. They even surprised my wife with a lovely welcome gift for her birthday. The hotel is beautiful, the employees are wonderful, and the rooms are spotless and nicely equipped, with comfortable beds. We loved our stay.

10/10. The room and service were amazing, and I loved the fantastic smell in both the reception and the room. The sushi restaurant was top notch too, and so was the service from our waitress. I stayed one night and wish I could have stayed many more.

The location is top notch, right beside Marienplatz. We had a good stay at the DO & CO Hotel, with a very good room and an amazing range of liquors in the minibar. The staff were friendly and helpful, and both the breakfast staff and the food were great.
