The rooms are simple but clean, with housekeeping every day and a very comfortable memory foam bed. Ours had a good-sized mini fridge. The bathroom toiletries look nice, and the body and hair shampoo comes in one bottle. It's in a great spot, with the tram just around the corner and both Old Town and Oktoberfest within easy walking distance. There are several restaurants and nightlife spots a few hundred meters away, though the area still feels quiet aside from the occasional ambulance siren. It's not somewhere I'd want to lounge around all day, but I'd absolutely stay again for an affordable, safe, central place.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and otherwise great. The shower was the real problem: it was so tiny I could barely turn without bumping the controls. I also wasn't thrilled that the Wi-Fi was open and unsecured, though my mobile data worked well enough in the room.

There's no breakfast, though you can get free coffee from the machine. The price felt fair for the quality, and the location is right in central Munich. My room had a really odd, strong smell, but apart from that it was okay.

The hotel closing at 10 p.m. caught me off guard, since I hadn't been told that before booking, and I had to make sure I got back early each day. It can be an affordable place to stay in Munich, but when I arrived at 11 a.m., the receptionist told me I'd need to wait three hours to check in. He wasn't very forthcoming about what the hotel offered or whether there were other options unless I asked.

The location is five stars, and the hotel was very clean with a good, moderate price. I stayed here in 2025 and liked it enough to book again, but this time I was disappointed: my room and shower were both tiny, and the man at reception wasn't nice. It really wasn't a fun stay.
