I arrived at Hotel Atlanta Garni after business meetings with clients in Munich and was told at reception that my booking had been cancelled and there was no room for me. I asked them to check again because it was October in Munich and I thought finding another room would be impossible, but they repeated that it was cancelled and there were no spare rooms. To this day I don't understand why they cancelled, or why nobody told me by email, text, or phone before I arrived. Just a flat no at the desk. A horrible experience, and I would not recommend it at all. It may be cheap, but don't waste your time here.

The receptionist was very friendly, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. It's in downtown Munich and good value for the money. It's not fancy or newly decorated, but it has what you need for a couple of days in Munich.

The building gave an impression of neglect, right down to the badly maintained staircase. In the room, the bed linens and furniture felt neglected, the toilet was in very poor condition, and the overall atmosphere was uncomfortable. Staff were unprofessional and unhelpful, with little interest in making guests welcome. I was met with indifference and bad attitudes instead of hospitality. This was frustrating from start to finish. The hotel fell short on cleanliness, basic maintenance, and decent service, and I can't recommend it. I'd strongly advise staying elsewhere.

The location was great, and the price was very reasonable for everything. The staff were very good, and the woman was kind and helpful. I'd recommend it to everyone. Ten out of ten stars.

I checked in, then within an hour had found a nicer, newer hotel around the corner that actually cost less, and moved there. At Hotel Atlanta, the room furniture was broken at the door hinges, the mirrors were broken, and there was no A/C. They gave me a fan, but that didn't work either. The hotel overall felt like it was in third-world condition. I wouldn't stay here unless you're okay with a very rough stay.
